hi, first of all, would like to thank for creating this software.
Found some bug on it on latest version 3.0.
1. Not able (or partial) to auto open/include sub-folder files.
2. Due to issue #1, I use “search” to list out all the file (included sub-folder), drags all and drop to MD5Checker, but it crashed during listing (no matter on or off the auto start check). It is only happening on the folder I searched (more than 400 files) and maximum can list down 386 files. It only able to list 386 files if drag and drop between 387 ~ 390 files. If more than 390, then it crahsed. And if I partial drag and drop, say 200 each time, then it do not crash. But it only happens on the folder I searched, if other, it has no problem.

The open and close bracket still not able to show. but I have mentioned in above message that open and closed bracket are replaced by “2 Hash” and “2 Asterisk”.

Thanks Rex,
Regarding to #1, are you dragging and dropping folder into the Md5Checker? If so, the Add folders option will be used. In order to add all sub-folder files, you should set the Add folders | Include option to ‘*.*’ in the Options dialog previously. Or use the Open File dialog to add folder, and set the option in this dialog then. However, I will add an options dialog for drag-and-drop in the next version.
Regarding to #2, yes, it is a bug – Md5Checker may crash when dragging and dropping lots of files at one time. I will fix it soon and release a new version. You can use the approach I mentioned above (i.e., use the Open File dialog to add folder or set related options previously) to avoid this problem temporarily.
Best Regards,
Feng
